Fifteen years ago I married my best friend. The reason I mention this is because one of the first things I did after I got engaged, was register for a Cuisinart food processor. I have always loved cooking and I couldn’t wait to start processing.

"I am a passionate fan of my Cuisinart food processor."

Here we are, fifteen years later and my Cuisinart is still going strong! I haven’t had a single problem with it and let me tell you, I use it all the time! From shredding zucchini for my turkey meatballs to slicing potatoes for my famous Gruyere potato gratin, this puppy gets a lot of use and abuse!

Now some people might think that a Cuisinart actually makes things more time consuming because you have to clean it. But this is a fallacy. As a matter of fact, I have found clean-up to be a breeze because I just rinse the blade in hot water and then put the rest of the components in the dishwasher! Easy breezy!

My Cuisinart is also my secret to the perfect pie crust. As you probably know, making a flakey and tender pie crust can be very tricky. But I found if I make it in the Cuisinart it comes out perfectly every time. I discovered that placing the blade in the freezer for an hour or more before making my dough keeps everything nice and cold, which is key to a good pie crust.

As you can tell, I am a passionate fan of my Cuisinart food processor. If there comes a time when my trusted friend is no longer in service, you can be assured that her replacement will be a new Cuisinart.
