3-Quart Slow Cooker by Crock-Pot
Ideal Size For Both Roasts and Dips
One of the best things about crockpots are how easy they are to use. Add your ingredients, set the timer, and walk away. A few hours later your meal will be ready to enjoy without spending time in front of a stove.
Today I am reviewing the 3-Quart Crock-Pot Round Manual Slow Cooker. There are a few reasons why I love this crock-pot: the size, the affordability and the ease of use. First, this crock-pot is only 3- quarts, and while it is still large enough to cook a three pound roast beef, the small size makes it great for dips and appetizers. It also sits comfortably on your kitchen counter without taking up too much space. And that I love!
Second is the affordability of the 3-Quart Crock-Pot Round Manual Slow Cooker. It’s very reasonably priced for slow-cookers. You get more bang for your buck, or should I say, soup for your buck.
Another thing I enjoy is the ease of use. There are three settings: warm, low and high which cook your meals to your specification. Although the slow cooker does not have its own timer (some models automatically turn off with a timer) this model is still on the top of my list and I use it for a variety of different recipes.
One recipe I have used this slow cooker for is making roasted red peppers. First you rub the inside of the slow cooker with oil and add in the pepper halves. Turn the heat to high for three hours and when the timer goes off, turn off the slow cooker and peel your peppers. Done and delish!
